American actress Alexandra Daddario is a rising talent who is taking Hollywood by storm. Not afraid to take chances, she fearlessly embarks on new challenges that take her out of her comfort zone.
Her breakout role on the 2014 Emmy-nominated HBO series True Detective, opposite Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey, garnered a slew of fans, drew massive critical and viral media attention and established her as a sought-after actress to cast.
Daddario went on to star in the Warner Bros/New Line epic summer blockbuster, San Andreas, as the female lead opposite Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. It hit theaters May 2015 and grossed over $470M worldwide. This physically challenging and demanding role affirmed Alexandra’s star quality and acting versatility.
Daddario will re-team with Johnson as the female lead of the upcoming Warner Bros’ film Baywatch, scheduled for release in spring 2017.
She appeared in the 2016 release of the Lionsgate’s film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ novel The Choice, and will also star in The Layover, a romantic comedy directed by William H. Macy opposite Kate Upton. Daddario is currently filming When We First Met opposite actor/co-writer Adam Devine.
