Proenza Schouler – Special Edition Museum Watch
Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough, the dynamic young design team behind the Proenza Schouler label, winner of the prestigious 2004 Vogue fashion fund award, brought their exuberant fashion sensibility to the legendary Movado Museum Watch in 2005, creating an inspired new interpretation of the iconic watch design.
Issued in an edition limited to 500 pieces, the edgy autumn-toned Movado Museum Proenza Schouler watch featured an oversized burnished metal case with copper case-back, and a metallic copper dial with flat dot and stick hands, a nod to the original celebrated Horwitt dial design.
The unique watch strap, wide and striking, was pure Proenza Schouler design. Fashioned of gunmetal gray satin and distressed brown leather, it featured PS signature stitch detail, and a burnished metal buckle. This defiantly chic Swiss made timepiece with sapphire crystal was quartz powered and water resistant.
