An exquisite automatic movement elevates the timeless styling and distinctive case that have defined the Datron Collection for over 50 years. Inspired by our archives, this retro-cool design is powered by the motion of your wrist with no need for batteries or winding, displayed in all its glory by an exhibition caseback. This timepiece features a 40mm case of classic stainless steel housing a statement-making green dial fitted with Swiss Super-LumiNova® accents and a date window. A luxurious chocolate leather strap completes this essential piece. Automatic watches do not contain batteries. They are charged by the movement of your wrist. If the watch is not worn it will stop running in about 38 hours. To get it started, turn the crown clockwise about 20-30 times until the second hand starts moving. You will most likely need to reset the time and date. We’re updating our logo—during this transition, products may ship with either the existing or new logo.

Excellent timepiece, clean simple design. Perfect size and feel. My only issue is that the strap doesn't live up to the watch, quality wise. Feels as though it will fail. Premium Movado watch with a bargain strap. This would of been a 5 Star review if not for the strap.

Watch cannot be worn band too small, went to store, they said go online ! The store had similiar watch for 300 dollars less, !!! WOW !

Received mine for Christmas, 2023. It stopped at 11:40pm the first evening. I assumed it required more movement to keep it running overnight. It stopped at 11:40pm the next night. Since the packaging included zero information, I went online. Finding information about the watch is no easy task MGI could do much better there. Apparently if the watch stops, you're supposed to turn the crown clockwise to get it started. The crown on my watch had enough resistance that I feared damaging the watch. Since I had been wearing the watch it should have been running. I reset the time and the watch started, again. The website also said the watch should run for 30 hours when not worn. Mine did not. After a week, the watch had not run continuously for any 24 hour period. When running during the day, timekeeping was not accurate. Customer service emailed me a form to fill out to return the watch to a service center, at my expense. The correct response to my situation, is, "We are extremely sorry for your inconvenience, We will send a replacement watch immediately. Please use the attached shipping label to return the defective watch".
I have three other Movado watches dating back over 25 years, all of them accurate and functional. The probability of getting a defective timepiece is small, but possible. I do hope Movado hasn't sold out quality for profit as many reliable brands have done.
