New Watch

This is a stunning modern retake of the original all black Movado museum timepiece when the model first launched back in the 80's or 90's. Except this version is quite a bit larger AND, most significantly, an AUTOMATIC movement. Target marketed for the Christmas '25 season, this all-black version apparently is an online exclusive and cannot be sourced directly in any stores as of this writing (trust me, I called everywhere). I'm guessing the face is at least 42-46 mm in diameter; it's pretty huge on my wrist and I'm a big guy. So, this watch likely would look too big on women or those with small wrists perhaps(?) The segmented bracelet-band is really unique & attractive and was a major selling point for me too. I have a large wrist, like 9-9. 5" so I ordered extra links at the same time as the watch order, but ended up not needing the extra links. As the watch fit me perfectly like a glove out of the box without needing any further adjustment. Viola! I manually wound the watch, wore it for a few days and placed it inside a watch winder box I have. It's been keeping razor sharp time. This model-version also has a date window in the 6 o' clock position area, a nice improvement over the old quartz original museums. They also make a stainless version of this model, but the black really is the stunner. Movado really hit a home run with this one.
