What is SmartGift?

SmartGift is a digital gifting service that we have teamed up with to make sure every Movado gift is perfect.

Why should I send with SmartGift?

SmartGift lets you send gifts instantly. Recipients can swap their gift for a same-priced item, if it’s not quite right, and provide their preferred shipping information.

How do I send a SmartGift?

When browsing on www.movado.com, look for the Send with SmartGift button next to the Add to Cart button.

What will my recipient see?

Your recipient will be able to digitally unwrap the gift item you send on their phone or computer, view your gift message, accept your gift or swap it for another item of the same value, and provide their preferred shipping information.

How do I know if my recipient has accepted my gift?

We will send you an email and text notification when your gift has been accepted and is ready for purchase. If you forget to pay for the gift, we will send you up to three reminders (24 hours, 3 days, 7 days after acceptance).

When do I pay for the gift?

You will be notified to pay for this gift by email (and text message if you provided your phone number) after your recipient has accepted it and made sure it’s perfect.

How does payment work?

Once your gift is accepted, we will send you an easy checkout link to complete the purchase on Movado.com. You will be able to use any of our available payment options including all major credit cards, PayPal and Affirm.

Can the recipient pay to select an item of higher value?

The recipient will only be able to swap across items that are of the same value as the original gift item sent.
